Rainforests and coral reefs cover only seven percent of the earth surface. Almost 70 percent of the whole biological life on the planet exists in these ecosystems. Coral reefs are the least known and understood ecological niches. Today, majority of coral reefs lying in the territorial waters of developing nations face serious threats. In last decade this local threats overshadowed by global ones. Increasing Carbondioxide level in the atmosphere now threats plnat's entire coral reefs and vast biodiversity.
